Sour cream
Sour cream is a derivative of milk and owes its success to its versatility. In fact, it is used both in salty and sweet dishes and it is present in many recipes of European origin but not only. In the United States of America, it is the main ingredient in desserts, such as the typical New York cheesecake.
Alone or as an accompaniment, it is a food which can be used for lunch, dinner and also for breakfast, for example to prepare savoury pancakes. Sour cream can be used to prepare many recipes starting from appetizers to first courses and second courses as well as side dishes and desserts.
