Acacia honey is the fine nectar obtained from Robinia pseudoacacia, a plant of the Mimosaceae family, also known as locust honey. This honey is obtained through the work of bees that pollinate the flowers of this plant, giving the honey a delicate floral scent.
Its taste is naturally sweet, with a slightly bitter aftertaste that is hardly noticeable. The aroma and flavor are delicate and distinctive, with floral notes and hints of vanilla that give the honey a unique character. When acacia honey is pure, i.e. not mixed with other floral sources, it is almost completely colorless, giving it a crystal clear and bright appearance.
