Founded in 1966, Latteria San Pietro originated around a church-oratory, a meeting and sharing place for farmers and breeders. Almost 60 years ago, these pioneers decided to unite to create a dairy cooperative that today represents a solid and recognized entity in the Italian dairy landscape.

Located between the high Mantuan plain and the morainic hills, Latteria San Pietro produces about 80,000 wheels of Grana Padano DOP every year. Its range includes conventional, organic, Hay Selection, and Kosher certified Grana Padano, ensuring a diversified and high-quality production.

The flagship product of Latteria San Pietro is the 50-month aged Hay Selection Grana Padano. A cheese with an incredible aromatic complexity, the result of a long aging process that enhances the notes of dried fruit and spices, with a crumbly texture and an intense and persistent flavor.

Territory

The 25 members of Latteria San Pietro operate within a 30 km radius, enhancing a unique milk, coming from the permanent meadows of the area. This environment guarantees a superior quality raw material, contributing to the creation of a Grana Padano with an unmistakable identity.
