Founded 62 years ago, in 1962, Latteria San Lazzaro is located in Ceresara, in the Upper Mantuan area, bordering the Brescia region. A small group of 11 members carries on a solid cheesemaking tradition with dedication, ensuring continuity and quality in the production of Grana Padano DOP.
Latteria San Lazzaro specializes in the production of Grana Padano DOP, with particular attention to innovation. 75% of the milk milked by the members comes from robotic milking, guaranteeing high sanitary standards and optimal farm management.
The Grana Padano from Latteria San Lazzaro has been appreciated for years in Southern Italy, where it is continuously exported. A cheese with a balanced structure and a rich flavor, the result of careful selection of raw materials and scrupulous processing.
Latteria San Lazzaro is located in the heart of the Upper Mantuan area, a land suited to cheese production. With a warehouse of 40,000 wheels and a generational change already underway, it looks to the future with confidence: the members' children are progressively taking the place of their fathers, ensuring the continuation of a tradition that puts quality at the center of everything.
