On Thursday, September 5th, the historic Palio of Parmigiano Reggiano was held at the Fiera Millenaria in Gonzaga, Mantova. This event brings together the finest dairies in the region, judged by experts from the Parmigiano Reggiano Tasters Association. This year, our partner Latteria Sociale Gonfo proudly secured third place. Congratulations on this remarkable achievement


Founded on a long tradition of cheese-making, Latteria Sociale Gonfo stands as a beacon of excellence and passion for artisanal Parmigiano Reggiano production. Located in the heart of Mantua, the dairy is known for its commitment to quality and adherence to traditional methods.


We also extend our congratulations to the Latteria Agricola Mogliese, who took second place, and the winning Latteria Agricola Arrivabene.
The Palio of Parmigiano Reggiano, now in its 12th year, celebrates the excellence of Parmigiano Reggiano from the provinces of Parma, Reggio Emilia, Modena, Mantova, and Bologna. Each participating dairy submits a sample of their Parmigiano Reggiano to be judged by a panel of certified tasters. The two winning dairies will join the other winners of the 2024 Palii for a special event in London in 2025, where they will receive the Casello d’Oro.
