Ferrari Bio is a small family business that works to guarantee the quality of its products.

 

In fact, all their animals graze in the farm's fields, which are cultivated without the use of fertilisers or chemical pesticides and are fed in compliance with the regulations of the Parmigiano Reggiano Consortium and the organic method; they use homeopathic or phytotherapeutic medicines.

 

Ferrari BIO currently has about 130 cross-bred animals. They have chosen to use cross-bred animals to better guarantee animal welfare; in fact, crossing different breeds strengthens the physical structure of the animal. The milk produced by Ferrari Bio cows allows the production of Organic PDO Parmigiano Reggiano, which is particularly generous in fatness and fragrance, delicious tasted in flakes even when matured.
