“Centro Form” was founded in 1984 by Giuseppe Caruso and it is located in the heartland of Sicily.
Cheesemaking is a passion for Caruso family since two generations. From early 1900s, their shepherd ancestors were artisanal cheesemakers, whose activity was mainly located around Etna. Later, they moved their flock of sheep in Aidone, because of the richer pastures which yields high quality milk and well contributes to animal well being. Aidone is a location appreciated for its enchanted natural landscape and for its history. Its territory includes many hectares of forest, a greek-hellenic historical site and a Norman-arab castle named “Pietra Tagliata”.
Thanks to Aidone unspotted natural environment and its rich biodiversity the Caruso family is still having the opportunity to transform high quality milk, like their previous generations did. “Centro Form” is now a successful cheese factory in Sicily and beyond, affirming their mission of producing high quality products like Piacentinu Ennese, Vastedda del Belice and Pecorino Siciliano PDO.
