Cuttlefish
The cuttlefish is a marine mollusc with a pouch-shaped body and eight tentacles. It is highly appreciated in the kitchen for its tender and tasty meat, which can be prepared in a variety of recipes, such as grilled, baked, stewed or as a filling for pasta or risotto. It is also used to prepare the classic dish of spaghetti al nero di seppia, where the ink sac is used to give the sauce a particular and intense black colour.
