PDO Puzzone di Moena
Made from raw milk, Puzzone di Moena DOP is a semi-hard, semi-cooked cheese with a moist rind. Its peculiar name comes from its very intense aroma, which is due to the practice of "sponging" during the maturing process.
The cows that produce the milk used to make Puzzone di Moena are fed with non-genetically modified products.
Puzzone di Moena Dop, completely free of additives and preservatives, is a Trentino delicacy that can be enjoyed either during a meal, accompanied by black bread, or as a snack with cold cuts produced in the Trentino valleys.
