Goat Tonka and Vermouth
Capra Tonka and Vermouth is a cheese born from passionate research, combining the complexity and elegance of the Tonka bean with the aromatic notes of Vermouth. The combination of these two components creates an extraordinary taste experience to be savored without alteration to fully appreciate its distinctive personality.
Tonka bean is obtained from the fruits of Cumaru, a tree grown in the fertile lands of South America. The bean seed holds mainly floral and fruity aromas, with clear hints of vanilla and anise.
The red Vermouth used is of Piedmont origin and is made from Nebbiolo, selected white wines and a blend of herbs, spices and roots hand-picked high in the mountains.
Two important tips: be sure to taste Capra Tonka and Vermouth at room temperature to fully appreciate its flavor characteristics, and don't remove the rind! This cheese was carefully designed and aged, and the rind is an integral part of its flavor profile and unique appeal.
